The festive outing, known as the Howling Halloween Pup Cruise, is scheduled to welcome passengers and their pets on October 23. Serving as a dedicated seasonal gathering for dog lovers across the metropolitan area, the special event combines scenic river navigation with the playful ambiance of a Halloween costume party on the open deck.
While the pup-centric cruise has developed a loyal following in previous iterations, organizers have introduced a significant format change for this year's voyage. For the first time since its inception, the sightseeing cruise line will host the event entirely as a nighttime excursion, shifting away from standard daytime operations to offer a completely different visual perspective of the city.
Departing from Circle Line’s longtime West Side base at Pier 83, situated along West 42nd Street, the vessel will embark on an evening journey scheduled to begin precisely at 7:00 p.m. The entire waterborne experience is structured to span 90 minutes, providing ample time for owners and pets to enjoy the maritime environment.
The newly introduced nighttime scheduling allows guests to experience New York Harbor under evening skies, creating a memorable visual backdrop for attendees. As the boat glides across the water, passengers will be treated to sweeping, unobstructed panoramas of the iconic Manhattan skyline illuminated after dark against the autumn night.
