Lottery officials in Washington state have released the official winning numbers for the wide slate of draw games conducted on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Ticket holders across the Pacific Northwest are encouraged to carefully check their tickets across both multi-state jackpot offerings and state-specific daily drawings to determine whether they hold a prize-winning entry.

Headlining the evening's results was the multi-jurisdictional Powerball game, which continues to draw substantial participation statewide. The winning white ball numbers drawn for the September 9 contest were 09, 40, 42, 55, and 65, with the red Powerball designated as 23. Players who added the optional multiplier feature saw a Power Play number of 2 selected for the drawing.

Alongside the primary Powerball drawing, participants who opted into the secondary Powerball Double Play feature had another opportunity to match numbers for cash prizes. The winning combination for the September 9 Powerball Double Play drawing consisted of 32, 33, 58, 62, and 69, accompanied by a Powerball of 18.

State-exclusive jackpot enthusiasts also followed the results for Washington’s flagship Lotto game, which offers drawings three nights per week. The winning six-number combination selected during Wednesday night’s drawing was 03, 05, 10, 19, 26, and 34. Players who match various combinations of these six digits are eligible for tiered cash rewards according to official payout charts.

Daily jackpot and fixed-prize options produced a full set of winning combinations as well. In the Hit 5 drawing, the five winning digits pulled on September 9 were 17, 24, 26, 30, and 37. Meanwhile, the Match 4 drawing—a daily favorite providing fixed payouts for matching four selected digits—yielded the winning sequence of 03, 09, 13, and 21.

Shorter-odds daily games offered additional winning opportunities for Washington participants. In the Pick 3 game, the three-digit winning sequence selected on Wednesday evening was 4-9-6. In the single-number Cash Pop drawing, which delivers quick results each evening, the winning number selected for the September 9 event was 03.

Rounding out the Wednesday evening lineup, the Daily Keno drawing generated its standard set of 20 winning numbers out of the larger pool. The numbers selected for September 9 were 08, 26, 28, 30, 32, 36, 37, 45, 49, 50, 52, 54, 56, 61, 62, 65, 66, 68, 74, and 78, giving participants multiple combinations to score prize payouts.

With all results confirmed, lottery officials have outlined the standard claims protocols for ticket holders looking to redeem winning entries. The claim method depends entirely on the size of the payout. For lower-tier prizes valued up to $600, winners may redeem their funds immediately by presenting their valid tickets at any authorized Washington Lottery retail location across the state.

For prizes that exceed the $600 retail payout threshold, players must submit a formal claim either through the postal service or in person at designated lottery facilities. Players choosing the mail-in option are required to complete and sign the back of the winning ticket, fill out an official winner claim form, and send the materials to Washington Lottery Headquarters, PO Box 43050, Olympia, WA 98504-3050.

Ticket holders who prefer to process larger claims in person are required to visit a regional lottery center with appropriate documentation in hand. Claimants must bring their signed winning ticket, a government-issued photo ID, and their Social Security card. Presenting a voided check is also recommended as an optional step to facilitate electronic direct deposit of winnings.

To serve winners across various geographic areas, the Washington Lottery maintains multiple regional walk-in centers. Claim offices are located at the Olympia Headquarters, the Everett Regional Office, the Federal Way Office, the Spokane Department of Imagination, the Vancouver Office, and the Tri-Cities Regional Office. Official claim forms and additional procedural instructions are available for download via the state lottery’s official web portal.

Players are also reminded of the regular weekly broadcast schedule for all major lottery draws. The Powerball drawing occurs three times per week at 7:59 p.m. PT on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, followed shortly by the Powerball Double Play drawing at 8:30 p.m. PT on those same nights. The Mega Millions multi-state game conducts its drawings at 8:00 p.m. PT on Tuesdays and Fridays, while Washington’s Lotto numbers are selected at 8:00 p.m. PT on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings.

The state’s complete roster of daily games follows a consistent evening schedule. Cash Pop, Pick 3, Match 4, Hit 5, and Daily Keno all conduct their drawings at 8:00 p.m. PT seven days a week, offering consistent opportunities for local participants throughout the year.

Lottery officials urge all participants to sign their tickets promptly upon purchase to establish ownership and to verify all numbers through official state lottery distribution channels before disposing of any entries. Detailed payout structures, historical draw data, and claim assistance forms remain accessible directly through the Washington Lottery platform.
