Adult entertainment executive and JustFor.Fans chief executive Dominic Ford recently brought together popular content creators from across the globe to participate in the first-ever Collab Week Fire Island. Designed as a dedicated gathering for performers to produce collaborative digital work and socialize, the inaugural event established a new creator-focused platform in one of New York's most storied coastal vacation spots.
The gathering brought approximately 60 models and adult entertainers to Fire Island, an iconic queer travel destination. Throughout the weeklong trip, the attending creators immersed themselves in the unique environment of the island, blending shared content production opportunities with the destination's active social events and nightlife.
Attendees participated in a variety of high-profile gatherings across the island during the week. Among the most notable entertainment highlights, performers were seen dancing alongside pop music artist Kim Petras during the Doll Invasion party, representing one of the major social moments of the inaugural retreat.
The itinerary also provided creators with numerous opportunities to connect across several classic island venues. In addition to attending large gatherings, models gathered to socialize and sing at Reflections, while also spending late nights at the renowned Underwear Party hosted at the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove.
For Ford, organizing an official Collab Week on Fire Island represented a meaningful personal milestone. The platform CEO explained that he has maintained an ongoing connection with the destination for more than two decades, having personally visited and stayed on the island for 21 years.
Ford noted that his personal history with the area directly inspired the desire to bring an organized group of digital creators together. He explained that Fire Island is an environment best experienced as part of a collective, making it an ideal setting for online talent to explore together.
The platform founder further emphasized that the gathering was purposefully structured to be far more than an ordinary work obligation. He stated that watching first-time visitors discover the atmosphere of the island in the company of like-minded peers fulfilled his core vision for the project.
Several high-profile performers were featured as part of the debut roster of attendees. Among the notable adult content creators who took part in the inaugural New York retreat were Alfonso, Matthew Ellis, Roxas Caelum, Grant Ducati, and Jace Starr.
Reflecting on the outcome of the initial event, Ford expressed deep satisfaction with the experience of the participating group. He described the week as an affirming milestone for the attendees and conveyed strong optimism that the annual retreat will continue to expand in the coming years.
The organizer acknowledged that executing the first edition provided crucial insight into managing future events on the island. Ford explained that completing year one offered a practical look at the operational requirements of the trip, as well as a clearer understanding of what participating creators expect from the experience.
With those lessons in mind, Ford is already exploring logistical adjustments to enhance the program for future participants. One key consideration under review includes scheduling future Fire Island events during post-season dates, a strategy aimed at securing more affordable housing options for incoming creators.
The Fire Island trip represents the second major destination event under the Collab Week banner. JustFor.Fans initially launched the collaborative travel concept the previous December with the successful debut of Collab Week Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
The original Puerto Vallarta retreat drew an extensive turnout of more than 200 adult models from various parts of the world. Ford observed that the Mexican resort city offered abundant venues and varied activities, which allowed organizers to provide an extensive slate of daily programming.
Comparing the two locations, Ford pointed out that Puerto Vallarta’s lower overall costs and venue availability make it accessible to a broader creator base. However, he noted that each setting offers distinct advantages for talent looking to network and build their individual brands.
Creators seeking future travel opportunities will not need to wait until next summer's New York retreat to participate. The next edition of Collab Week Puerto Vallarta is scheduled to return during the first week of December, with organizers preparing to accommodate another large contingent of models.
Registration for the upcoming winter retreat has already commenced for eligible talent. Verified JustFor.Fans performers are currently able to review complete trip information and submit RSVPs directly through the platform's official event portal.
